The facility was inspected on July 13, 2001. We cannot transfer the pier permit until the following deficiency has been corrected and we have been notified of the correction: The electrical receptacle on the pier/dock must be GfI or Twist Lock for use in a water environment. The Newport Beach City Council Harbor Permit Policies require that at the time of transfer, all harbor structures shall be inspected for compliance with the City's minimum standards, and the conditions of the existing permit. All structural deficiencies must be corrected prior to transfer of the permit. Please advise this department when the above deficiencies have been corrected. Newport Beach, CA. The facility was inspected on November 18, 1988. We cannot transfer the pier permit until the folowing deficiency(ies) has/have been corrected and WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE CORRECTION: 1. A City approved anti -syphon device is required at the water connection to the pier and float. 2. Electricity should be in conduit thatd is not broken. 3. The dock framing is in need of repair. The City Harbor Permit Policies state: 10.D. "At the time of transfer, all harbor structures shall be inspected for compliance with the City's minimum plumbing, electrical and structural requiremenmts, and the conditions of the existing permit. All structural deficiencies must be corrected prior to transfer of the permit." A permit for plumbing or electrical work must be obtained from the Building Department of the City. PLEASE ADVISE THIS DEPARTMENT WHEN THE ABOVE DEFICIENCIES HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. When we have been notified, the structure will again be inspected and when the requirements have been met the pier permit will be transferred.
