The Newport Beach Municipal Code reads as follows:. 17.22.050.Penal t for Failure to'Pay Fees. Any owner or permit holder who a-i s to pay any ee required by this Chapter within thirty (30) days after same is due shall be subject to a penalty in the amount of twenty-five (25%) percent of said fee on the first day of each month after the due date thereof; provided, however, that the amount of such penalty -to -be added shall in no event exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the fee due. Failure to pay the fee plus any accrued penalty within one hundred and fifty (150) days after the fee was originally due shall constitute grounds for revocation of the permit by the City Council (Ord. 1801 §1 (part), 1979; Ord 1667 § 1, 1976; Ord 1387 § 1 (part), 1971).
