The structure was inspected on August 22, 1990, at which time it
was determined that it conforms to City standards.
When we have received the pier transfer card, signed by both the
previous owner and the new owner, and the $275 transfer fee, we
will transfer the pier permit.

Dear Sir:
The City Finance Department has -informed me that .the annual Pier
Administration Fee for your harbor facility has not been paid. The
Newport Beach Municipal Code reads as follows:.
17.22.050.Penal t for Failure to'Pay Fees. Any owner or permit
holder who a-i s to pay any ee required by this Chapter within
thirty (30) days after same is due shall be subject to a penalty
in the amount of twenty-five (25%) percent of said fee on the
first day of each month after the due date thereof; provided,
however, that the amount of such penalty -to -be added shall in no
event exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the fee
due. Failure to pay the fee plus any accrued penalty within one
hundred and fifty (150) days after the fee was originally due
shall constitute grounds for revocation of the permit by the
City Council (Ord. 1801 §1 (part), 1979; Ord 1667 § 1, 1976;
Ord 1387 § 1 (part), 1971). "
Therefore, you are hereby notified that this matter.will be referred
to the Newport Beach City Council with a recommendation from the
Marine Department that the Harbor'Permit_for your'facili_ty be -revoked
if the fee and any penalties have not been received by the City
prior to August 30, 1985.
Upon revocation of a Harbor Permit, action may be taken to remove
the structure in accordance with Chapter. 17.24.100 of Ahe Municipal
Code which reads as follows:
1117.24.100. Structure Without Permit Declared a Nuisance - Abatement.
Every structure mainta ne in or over the wafer—s—oT Newport Harbor
or the Pacific Ocean without a current valid permit existing therefore
when required by this Chapter, or maintained in a manner or for
a purpose other than or different from that provided in the permit,
shall be immedi-ately abated and may be removed. If upon written
notice to remove any such structure the owner thereof fails,
refuses or neglects to do so within a reasonable time specified
