Imagination Celebration:
The theme of thisAyear’sAImaginationACelebration,AFireflies & Honey Bees, was based on a wonderful
collection of original poems and watercolor illustrations by local artist/writer Chip Fesko. The program,
narrated by the lovely English Actress, Eila Ulyett, was attended by 29 adults and 32 children. Everything
came together very smoothly for the event. Chip and Eila were happy with the performance, and the
feedback from the audience was overwhelmingly positive. The adults appreciated the humor in the poems,
and the kids appreciated that the performer took the time to speak to them personally and answer their
questions during the reading. Some of the parents wanted to know where they could buy the book and the
author brought a handout on how to purchase and download his book from iTunes. At the conclusion,
Library staff handed out firefly craft kits for the children to take home.
