I have been a resident of Newport Beach for 38 years and have always followed local politics
and shown an interest in our City's issues.
I so enjoyed serving as a member of one of the City's Boards and Commissions for 8 years and
after being termed out in 2005, I have missed that interaction. During that time I felt the Arts
Commission really grew in stature and visibility and I was particularly pleased with the support
from the City Council as our programs expanded. I feel that as volunteers, we are ambassadors
for the City and form a valuable outreach to other citizens.
I think I would add to the already impressive list ofEQAC members and would be honored to
be included on that list I have good organizational and communication skills and would enjoy
working once again on a City Board .
