• ON DUTY ON DUTY ON DUTY
• Mandatory training, entry level testing, promotional testing,
after hour assignments, CERT, CPR, Safety Day, Jr. Lifeguard
events, paramedic continual education, paramedic prep
classes, PCR forms, UASI grants, Fire Prevention, arson
investigators, City mandated classes, etc.
• Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA)
40 hours — Admin personnel
192 hours — Shift personnel
Vacation Relief
• Fire Operation Personnel take vacation time
• Other personnel are "backfilled" into the openings
so that we may remain in compliance with Constant
Manning requirement
• Exchange of Shifts (Shift Trades)
• Telestaffing Program (business rules)
