SPEAKERS MUST LIMIT REMARKS TO THREE MINUTES ON ALL ITEMS. (Bell and red light signifies when three minutes are up; yellow light signifies that the speaker has one minute left for summation.) ITEM NO. 1. SUBJECT: Spataro Residence (Brion S. Jeannette, Applicant) 3619 Ocean Boulevard SUMMARY: Request to approve a Variance to permit the construction of a single family residence which exceeds the maximum allowable height limit in the 24/28 foot Height Limitation Zone by approximately 12 feet, on a property located in the R -1 District. The height of the proposed dwelling will not exceed the height of the top of curb elevation on Ocean Boulevard. The proposal also includes a modification to the Zoning Code to allow the proposed dwelling and garage to encroach 10 feet into the required 10 foot front yard setback area along Ocean Boulevard. SUBJECT: Newport Dunes Height Limitation Zone City of Newport Beach _ SUMMARY: A resolution of intent to amend Section 20.65.050 of the Zoning Code to establish a height limitation zone for the Newport Dunes Planned Community. ACTION: Conduct public hearing; adopt resolution of intent to revise Section 20.65.050 of the Zoning Code • AmendmentNo.878 ITEM NO. 3. SUBJECT: Modifications to Development Policy G City of Newport Beach (Continued from July 9, and July 23, 1998) SUMMARY: An amendment to the Development Policy G of the Land Use Element of General Plan relating to time - shares projects. REQUIRED Hold public hearing; ACTION: Approve, modify or deny: • General Plan Amendment No. 98 -2 (B) ITEM NO. 4.
