Staff promised to bring the comments back in February 2012 within a chart (Attachment A) showing what staff believes can be addressed in 2012, which departments will work on the projects /efforts, and where funding has been identified or needs to be identified. RECOMMENDATION: 1. Offer further direction to staff regarding City Council priorities for 2012 as well as those projects or efforts that may need to be deferred. 2. Receive and file the finalized listing of City Council priorities for 2012. FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: Fiscal impacts and funding are discussed generally on Attachment A with each priority project /effort. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The consideration of this item is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act ( "CEQA ") pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) (the activity will not result in a direct or City Council Priorities for 2012 February 14, 2012 Page 2 reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment) and 15060(c)(3) (the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378) of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, because it has no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly. Aspects of the projects discussed or prioritized may require additional environmental review at such time as the Council considers projects not already approved.
