W'ben z*n Drought
According to the June 10, 2016 O.C. Register 103,500 new houses,
condominiums and apartments are in the process of being built in
Orange County.
DO THE MATH!
Take 103,500 new dwellings.
Multiply them by 456 gallons per day per household*
and we'll need 47,196,000 gallons per day.
Multiply that daily need by 365 days in a year.
and the total is 17,226,340,000 gallons a year!
*per: 2016 Urban Water Management Plan
THAT'S OVER SEVENTEEN
BILLION GALLONS OF WATER
PER YEAR!
