The time was about a quarter of 4 when the election d~tails were all wrapped up, and ~he final total jotted down. There was plenty of drama to hold our interest all that time - the see-sow races between Kenneth Kingsley and Doreen Marshall in District 3. and between J. Frank .,A,tkinson and Stanley Ridderhof in District 4. and the close decision on the name change. With only 4 precincts to go. Councilman Ridderhof held a 7 -point lead. Then in came Corona del Mar Precinct 24 with a 169 to 7 6 +ally to put Mr. Atkinson comforlllbly in the lead, to stay.
