Miner, 68, and Raymond Maciejczak, 59, of New York were the focus or a yearlong investigation by Costa Mesa police and the Orange County District Attorney's office. Police say the break in the case came when they found Ma- ciejczak, who is believed to be the link between Miner and accused hit man Patrick O'Neill, on the East Coast. He was arrested Aug. 4 111 a New York hotel room by Costa Mesa and New Yoi:k police. Both Miner and Maciejczak were booked at Costa Mesa Jail on charges or attempted honucide and solicitation for murder. Miner posted her $250,000 bail. Maoejczak remains in custody in lieu or $100,000 bail.
