workshops at a Corona del Mar

tions, scientific research and cuJ.

the ideas.
In the early spnng. the state
bought out San Franosco devel·
oper Michael Freed, whose idea
for a lu.xwy resort at the cove
was met with Wldespread oppo-
sttion. Freed and State Parks
Di.rector Rusty AreJaS faced a
fiery, packed house at a January
public meeting about the resort
plan.
