When KelJy started the same hJgb school and church group, there was the first hint of a budding romance, but agam the difference m ages and stages was a big deterrent Over the pc1 t eight years. the chapters of Kelly' and Ryan's lives have intersected penodJcaUy, and there was obviously some- thing special there. Many people besides the two have prayed for God's guidance about their future. February 9, 2002 AJ City Council sets annual community goals • Among the Costa Mesa objectives that pass muster are incentives for Westside developers, hotel water conservation and studies on rezoning the bluffs. Those decisions came as the council met thts week to narrow down what it hopes to accomplish during the coming years. At the Monday meeting, council members approved t 8 goals that were outlined and discu sed at a speoal Saturday meeting last month. Owing that meeting. the council, the Planning Commission and the Parks. RecreaUonaJ Facilities and Parkways Commission i~en· tified the tssues they want resolved. Finance Director Marc Puckett said there have been 202.conununity objec· lives outlined. with 138 completed. Oty leaders also will focus on guaranteeing the use of half the anticipated revenues from the futUJ'e lkea fumJture store -lated to be built on the Home Ranch site just north of the San Diego Free· way -to fund a bond to place utilities underground citywide. This was the first year the two commissions joined the council m creating commuru- ty goals. All goals laid out by counol members were approved. except tbo e from Counalman Chris Steel.
