installment of uThe Verdict," written by
Judge Robert Gardne r, a Newport
Beach institution if there ever was one.
Gardner, a noted jurist, has been
spinning yarns in the Daily Pilot and in
books for decades. and we've all been
eager listeners and readers. But the
time comes for all good things to pass,
and that time is now for "the Judge."

Camp provides a noncompetitive
environment for kids to learn the basic
skills of the game. Participa nts will learn

to 12. Camps are Monday through Friday,

tried to run away. She was beaten
and stabbed to death. Riehl was

days later and start a graduate
program at Rutgers University.

young men. who fell provoked
after an activist meeting, al·
tacked Biehl randomJy. She was
said to have been at the wrong
